  • On Friday, Mar. 27th at Laurel had 5 winners from eight-race ChalkFest (2 Top Selections; payoffs in BOLD) having $2 WIN pay-off of $5.20 (1st race), $6.00 (5th), $4.60 (6th), $3.80 (7th) and $6.00 (8th). Of the suggested Multi-Race Wagers cashed the R7-R8 DOUBLE for $11.60.
  • The BEST BET of the Day (28: 5-9-3) Canal Street (4th race: 3-1 M/L; 3-1 PT) rated four wide behind the top pair, came under a strong ride mid turn, continued well off the inside into the stretch but one paced through the final furlong to finish 3rd returning $2.80 to SHOW.
  • The LONGSHOT PLAY OF THE DAY (25: 3-1-9) Holly’s Image (7th race: 6-1 M/L; 2-1 PT) set the pace slightly off the rail, drifted out a bit turning for home and gave way in the final furlong to finish 5th.
