YESTERDAY’S NEWS

  • On Saturday, Jan. 31st at Laurel had 5 winners from 8 races having $2 WIN pay-off of $4.80 (2nd race), $6.80 (3rd), $3.80 (4th), $2.80 (6th) and $7.40 (7th).
  • The BEST BET of the Day (11: 0-4-1) Anita Vacation (4th race: 7-2 M/L; 2-1 PT) lagged off the pace, saved ground into the stretch but had no response, finishing 5th.
  • The LONGSHOT PLAY OF THE DAY (9: 0-0-4) Ringsforthegirls (5th race: 8-1 M/L; 6-1 PT) chased the pace three wide into the turn then faltered after a half mile to finish 6th.
