  2. #3 – Antares (2-1): FL shipper failed as favorite at Tam for same level; sports best last race dirt Brisnet#

  1. #3 – Jackson (4-5): Well meant (beat a neck) & bet (2-1) in debut nearly 5 clearly of 3rd place finisher
  2. #5 – Arch in the Park (10-1): $435k purchase banished from Mott barn after 81 length loss in debut; Adds Lasix & blinkers for second outing now conditioned by Trombetta
  3. #2 – Stonebriar (2-1): 8th as beaten favorite in $100k MD Juvy returns to MSW to get diploma

  2. #2 – Extrasexyhippzster (8-1): Last seen on Preakness Day undercard; needed time off; great work tab
  3. #7 – Battled (8-1): Lost all chance at start in most recent, yet rallied for a piece

Race 7

  1. #1/1A – Stolen Love / Cho Time (9-5): Strong duo rarely runs a bad race
  2. #4 – Graced (7-2): Has run best races at this level; never OTB in 13 lifetime outings going 6f
  3. #8 – Tiger Tank (8-1): Away since Apr. has shown in the A.M. that he’s ready for return

  1. #8 – Holly’s Image (8-1): $Longshot Play$ Has potential to steal this one on the front end
  2. #4 – My Mad Cam (5-1): Compromised at the start in most recent effort; can make amends
  3. #6 – Heavenly Sky (8-1): Should improve off initial 7f test; Brisnet#’s are ascending

Race 9 

  1. #7 – Rebel Exchange (7-2): Just 2 for 20 lifetime but both victories came @ Lrl from 11 starts
  2. #4 – Texas Tex (8-5): Brisnet#’s in last two are superior to rest of the field
  3. #9 – A. P Wild (4-1): Only runner in here taking a huge drop in class; speed from outside

YESTERDAY’S NEWS

  • On Thursday, Jan. 29th at Laurel had 5 winners from 10 races having $2 WIN pay-off of $17.20 (1st race), $16.20 (2nd), $6.80 (4th), $4.00 (6th) and $2.40 (9th). Of the suggested Multi-Race Wagers cashed the EARLY DOUBLE (R1-R2) for a $114.00.
  • The BEST BET of the Day (9: 0-3-1) First Betrayal (2nd race: 5-1 M/L; 5-2 PT) bobbled at the break, quickly recovered and opened up on her rivals, angled in towards the rail to set the pace, drifted off the inside entering the lane, came under right handed encouragement nearing mid-stretch but failed to last, losing by one length to settle for the PLACE purse, returning $5.60 to PLACE and $3.60 to SHOW.
  • The LONGSHOT PLAY OF THE DAY (8: 0-0-4) Notional Debt (9th race: 15-1 M/L; 6-1 PT) rated back leaving the starting gate, advanced three deep between horses leaving the turn, chased the winner and faded in the drive to finish 3rd and return $3.20 to SHOW.
