In Spa Selections, Saratoga on-site correspondent Joseph Aiello provides picks for a handful of key races at Saratoga, including all of the exciting stakes action!

Race 9 – OC 80000n1x

1. #9 Goodbye Brockley (6-1) – Was impressive holding off Wegetsdamunnys last time in the New York Stallion Series, and should be a good play here

2. #8 Mighty Scarlett (4-5) – Chad Brown broke the record for most trainer wins in a Saratoga meet yesterday but doesn’t seem to want to stop with two days left

3. #12 War Cabinet (15-1) – Won at this distance last time, and should see more pace to run into this time out

Race 10 – Grade II Prioress Stakes

1. #7 Moonshine Memories (8-1) – Sits off the leaders then runs them down in the stretch; bet to favorite last time and has some backclass including a race against Monomoy Girl two back

2. #4 Mia Mischief (5-2) – More experience than this green field including a Grade II win and near loss in the Grade I Test last time out

3. #5 Dream Pauline (9-2) – With Baffert and Smith not being successful yesterday and having a filly that probably prefers more distance, this McLaughlin trainee will look to stay undefeated

Race 11 – Alw 87000n1x

1. #4 Jaunt (4-1) – Has had trouble winning in her career, with nine second or third place finishes out of fifteen tries on the dirt, so with some decent pace here she should break through

2. #6 Munchkin Money (9-2) – Stretches out back out in distance and should like this softer surface which will suit her closing style more

3. #9 Untaken (20-1) – Has somewhat struggled on the turf, but with a good price, surface change, and good running style take a shot here
